We're reading The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne, a Viking Norse-inspired fantasy featuring monsters, vengeance, warbands, and magic. And Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, a tale mirroring Greek mythology in a labyrinth-like world that ties in the beauty of classical ruins with a connection with nature and mortality.
