Adventure & Epic Fantasy

This month, we're discussing books that fall in the fantasy subgenres of adventure and epic fantasy. Our book choices for this month are Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse and Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft.
We also have a bonus pick for the month: The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington. The voting was very close this month, so we chose an optional read for those who DNF or do not want to read on of the other options. It will be casually discussed at the end of the meeting.

Black Sun
by Rebecca Roanhorse
The first book in the Between Earth and Sky trilogy, inspired by the civilizations of the Pre-Columbian Americas and woven into a tale of celestial prophecies, political intrigue, and forbidden magic.
