Lovers vs. Found Family

This month, we're featuring opposing tropes. On the lovers side, we're reading Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole. The first book of the Kindred's Curse Saga, this book promises a plot-heavy, character-driven romantasy with a unique magic system (and dragons!). On the found family front, Five Broken Blades by Mai Corland brings together a fractured cast of characters who must learn to trust, fight, and survive together.
