Historical Fantasy vs. Contemporary Fantasy

This month, we're discussing books we're discussing books with opposing themes. For historical fantasy, we're reading These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong. For contemporary fantasy, we're reading Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo.

We also have a bonus historical fantasy pick for the month: The Red Winter by Cameron Sullivan. The voting was very close this month, so we chose an optional read for those who DNF or do not want to read on of the other options. It will be casually discussed at the end of the meeting.
